I love this pattern and set for everything!
I registered for these in 2005 and was lucky enough to get two sets (for a setting for 16)!! Sadly I lost one set and all of my saucers and tea cups in a storage… so now I am looking to replace that set. The pattern is elegant and stands the rest of time! It’s one that will never go “out of style” and they are versatile enough for daily use (I can’t just put them away and enjoy them only a couple times a year, I love them too much), and absolutely perfect for a formal setting! I will say that your don’t want to “over scrub” them with stiffer brushes, because it will begin to wear down the silver trim designs. This set is a beautiful classic design that you will not ever regret and they will be wonderful to pass on to the next generation… I have ALWAYS loved Mikasa. I have another set of Mikasa China that my parents bought my Grandparents when we lived in Japan as a toddler, that I inherited from my Grandmother when she passed that I also adore. My family also has many Mikasa figurines, etc… that hold a lot of memories throughout our lives.
