The set is exactly as pictured. The pattern is very pretty. It was a gift for my parents, and they liked the pattern and the dish set, especially the bowls and mugs. A pro and a con are that the dishes in general are thinner than expected. The pro is that everything is easier for my aging parents to hold and transfer from cabinet to table, dishwasher, etc. The con is that pieces in this set may be easier to chip or break, but that hasn’t happened yet. Overall, though, I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend this for everyday use.
